Death and life the first symphony

 Death and life, the first symphony bring us to the legend of the messagers of  God in the Bamileke and African culture, also its appropriation and interpretations in our visuals artworks. 

Firstly it is a fracgment of a series of artwork  which question the nation's of choice, believes, spirit construction and more again. In a means of annexing our roots and culture to narrate storys, we try to create surrealist universe highly influence by the Bamileke art in particular, African symbolic art and legends in general.

In addition our title which may look as a fantasy is more than a simple means of attraction. As it was the case for the Bamileke traditional art ( before colonialism) each element has its used and occupied a function.  More on each element has a symbolic meaning and contribute to the appreciation of the artefacts. Below will be an extract of our works ,the first part of the series "the Crise and the Christ" /relationship  between Man and Jesus Christ in the construction of the human character ,spirite and personality/ name "death and life the first symphony":

  The Bamileké culture in a suraliste view bring  us back to that traditional period in general, making use of symbols to express themselves to communicate. Art been a part of their every day life had totally master the question.
